Important information about getting here.
GPS, MapQuest, and Google Maps do NOT get you here. Use our GPS coordinates or follow the directions on the directions page (they are good).
We do shuttle private boats, but it is not cheap. The most difficult part of getting on the water is the shuttling. That is what everyone is really paying for.
Jello Shots, Glass and Styrofoam Coolers
Missouri law prohibits jello shots, glass of ANY kind, and styrofoam coolers of any kind on or near any water way, including the campground.
We do not Float children Age 2 or under.
The river is busy and can be rated “R” on Friday night and Saturday. Any other day of the week, the Elk River is great family fun! We do have a family area. If you are coming on the weekend with kids, let us know and we will try to get you in the family area.
What you’ll need.
We sell firewood, ice, light snacks, drinks, and souvenirs. You will need to bring everything else. Do not transport firewood; it spreads tree diseases.
Reservations are highly recommended for weekends. You’ll need a debit or credit card. We will charge your card a week to 10 days before your arrival (holidays are charged earlier) for 50% (100% if only one boat) of your equipment rental.
Campsite reservations and requests.
We custom design the campsites each weekend based on the groups that are going to be here. You’ll see the orange tape. We do our best to accommodate your requests for specific areas of the campground. We cannot guarantee you’ll be right next to “that big tree we were by last year”, but we will try.
